An inspirational account of a couple who overcame dangerous challenges to climb the Seven Summits profiles Phil Ershler, a professional mountain guide, Crohn\'s disease patient, and cancer survivor who was the first American to summit Everest from its treacherous north face, and his wife, Susan, a Fortune 500 executive who had never climbed before meeting Phil in her thirties.
Phil & Susan will be signing copies of their book \"Together on the Top of the World: The Remarkable Story of the First Couple to Climb the Fabled Seven Summits\" and their lecture.

Harlan Ullman will discuss these questions raised in his latest book, America`s Promise Restored - Preventing Culture, Crusade and Partisanship from Wrecking Our Nation.
Ullman\\\'s work has been praised by Colin Powell, John Kerry, and former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, among other notables. He is also the principal author of the \\\"shock and awe,\\\" doctrine, but not the variant used by the Pentagon.
Ullman is a senior advisor with the Center for Strategic and International Studies. His expertise spans national security, foreign policy, terror, defense, economics, and finance. Ullman currently serves at the Center for Naval Analyses, where he chairs the Senior Seminar, is a senior fellow and is on the advisory boards for U.S. European Command and the NATO Defense College.
